Frequently Asked Questions

Why hiring a wedding planner ?

Planning a wedding can be a confronting and stressful experience. It can be a case of juggling a lot of different priorities, not only in your personal life but meeting requests from family especially can be challenging. A wedding planner is not only a great objective reference point for you to help bring your plans and ideas to life, but because we have done it before – we can hit the ground running with what you need and deliver every efficiency in getting our job done. This essentially saves you time, money, and gives you a great sense of feeling in control in the lead up to the wedding day. Our wedding planners can take on as little or as much planning as your life demands.

Planning an event in another country where the language is not your mother tongue can be difficult. If you decide to celebrate your wedding in a venue located within a local neighbourhood, which happens often if you rent a villa,  then you will need to pay a fee to the local village community unit or Banjar.

You need permission to organise your event within the local area by informing the community of the potential noise and traffic from incoming guests and the event. The Banjar will offer their approval and support upon discussing the fees and details of the event with them. A professional wedding planner will of course make sure of this (and all the other requirements) are covered and handled properly.

What does a wedding planner do ?

Wedding planners are responsible for a wide range of tasks, including creating a budget proposal, visiting potential venues, vetting and hiring vendors, outlining expectations for the BIG day and offering creative alternatives.

Our team will be on site from the beginning until the end of your wedding.

What is the difference between a wedding planner and a venue coordinator ?

A lot of future spouses question whether or not they should invest on a wedding planner or trust in a venue coordinator.

A wedding planner is not the same as the venue coordinator.

There are in-house organizers at most venues. Their job is to ensure that everything goes off without a hitch during your event, but they also have the responsibility of enforcing the regulations of the location. A wedding planner is there to take care of you and your big day.

A wedding planner’s role is the same whether you engage them to arrange the whole event or just to coordinate on the big day. From early morning preparations to late afternoon vendor check-ins, they’ll be there the whole time.

Is there a deposit to secure the booking for your wedding in Bali?

Yes. Depending on what is specified in your wedding plans, the deposit may differ slightly, although full payment may be requested 7 days in advance.

A deposit is usually around  30-50% of the overall contract value.

Please note we have a strict no refund policy on any payments made for your event. As soon as we receive your payment, we are transferring to the chosen vendors to secure the booking date. Once it’s paid, we are no longer able to manage or control it.

What additional types of events do you service?
